Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Full refund.
Resolved after submitting reviews. Company contacted us to resolve in exchange for removing reviews.
Accurate Engines has been completely unresponsive to us and we still have NOT received our core refund or other payments that we were promised. We will NEVER do business with this company again, and we urge others to avoid them at all costs!
This engine was for a customer, so we needed it sooner rather than later. Unpacked it only to find that Accurate had put the wrong cam on it. We contacted [PERSON_NAME], the owner at [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], and he told us to invoice him for swapping the cam off of the core engine to the remanned engine, which we did. The core engine was shipped back to Accurate and received by them on March 26th (we had to deliver it to the shipper for the same reason as stated above - again we prepaid for liftgate service).
Between March 26th and April 28th we were calling and sending texts and emails to Accurate asking for the status of our core refund, liftgate refunds, and payment of our invoice. On April 28th, [PERSON_NAME] emailed us (evidently [PERSON_NAME] had been 'let go'). She said that a credit memo had been issued to us on March 29 and wanted to know if we had received the refund. We had not received it.
I sent her a reply to ask if the refund included all of the items we were owed money for...
$350 for the core,
$25 for the pallet return,
$250 for the cam swap, and
$150 for the liftgate charges that we did not utilize, as we picked up from and dropped off the engine at the Diversified Transfer and Service Warehouse.
So we should have gotten a total of $775.
To date, I have received no further communication from Accurate Engines, despite several phone calls (no one answers and voicemail boxes are full), texts that are never read, and emails that go unanswered.
As far as we know, the engine that we put in the customer's vehicle is still running. We've had no complaints to the contrary.
We shall see if that changes in the next few months.
We ordered a 7.3L diesel engine from Accurate in 2023 that was dropped off of a shipper's truck and broken, so we had to wait for a replacement. That engine order, engine replacement, core return, and refund process went pretty smoothly aside from the extra wait time getting the replacement engine.
At this point, we are not hopeful that we will ever see our refund, but you can be sure that we will never order another engine from Accurate Engines, and we would advise others to avoid them as well.
- Salesmen are very helpful
- Customer service and communication are non existent

We got the car home. The next day, we found an oil leak and an exhaust leak.
We were told to get it fixed, and they would reimburse us; a check would be in the mail that day. Eight weeks later, no check. When they got the car done and we paid them, we were told all the stuff they failed to tell us before they did the work, like if for any reason they have to pull the motor back out, you pay 800 dollars. If the motor they sold you and put in is bad, you pay.
Read the warranty closely and call the warranty company. We did and were told they had never heard of them.
If you need warranty work, you pay, and they reimburse you; at least, that's what happened to us, and still no check for 550 dollars. Read all reviews: BBB has 85 complaints, an F rating, and several review companies have just as bad.
- Are a bad company

Verified Reviewer |Delivered engine damaged putting on bad pallet with box on top
- - Engine arrived damaged on a bad pallet.
- - I did not sign; I have photos.
- - They kept $1,556 from a $3,458 refund
- - Plan to contact the attorney general
I got a damaged engine from Accurate, putting it on a bad wooden pallet. They strapped it to the pallet with a cardboard box over it to protect it.
Wow. The boards broke, the engine fell over, and broke more of the pallet. I did not sign for it; I got pictures. They got the engine back.
I told them just to refund my money back: $3,458. They kept $1,556; they said it was shipping and 20%. That way, more than 20%, they should have not charged at all. They are crooks; do not deal with them.
Many have been screwed over the same way. No engine out of $1,556. Being a Democrat state, I guess they can screw you over like the Democrats can do. I will be talking to the state general attorney soon.
Buy somewhere else; pass this along to as many as you can. See how long they stay in business.

Accurate engines = scam
Scam Scam
They told me that with half the price of the engine, they could start working and they would send me the engine in three weeks. I paid almost $4,497.00 USD on June 13, 2024. Then I had an accident and I was 2 months in bed. When I managed to recover, I contacted them to find out if we could continue with the deal or if they would return some of the advance, but they told me that there was no problem, that I would pay the other half and that they would send me the engine in 3 weeks.
I paid them the other half, which was another $4,497.00 USD on December 10, 2024, and until today, I have not received either the engine or the money. They do not answer the phone or the emails, anything. And to finish, I received an email about the engine warranty with some numbers and some scribbles that seem to be initials, and for me, it is like making fun of me. Brittany was the person with whom I was initially softening; she was the person who gave me the estimate, to whom I made the first payment, and who sent me the invoices.
Ron Herrema was the one who limited himself to telling me to talk to Brittany. Then Brittany told me to talk to Cast Hazel, who is supposedly the owner of 'the company,' and he never answered. It is worth mentioning that I told them that I wanted to cancel the order, and they sent me to say that it would be 20% of restocking and $498.00 of I don't know what. I told them to take them and to send me the rest, but Brittany told me that there was no way to cancel the order.
I have a small family business, and this truck is the one for work. Right now, I don't have the truck or the engine or the money. My brother-in-law lent me a ticket, but recently I had to return it.
It's incredible how these people, Brittany, Ron, and Cast, scam. Party Daniel Cisneros.

Verified ReviewerNot following through on warranty
- - Engine misfired within two months of ownership.
- - Mechanics say ABS does not cause misfires; a misfire can trigger the ABS light.
Ive had the new engine for less than 2 months and its already misfiring. They are trying to say the ABS is causing a misfire which is total BS.
Every single mechanic I called said absolutely never does an abs issue cause a misfire but a misfire can cause the abs light to come on. Dont waste any if your money here!!!
User's recommendation: Never never never go here. Spend the little extra money and go to somewhere that does the work right!!

Bought the engine for a Jeep. It leaked oil from day one.
The lifter broke within months. They kept the money from the warranty. Communication is worthless; my dog communicates better. They will take your money and never look back.
They will not honor the warranty.
You will lose money buying from and trusting them.
Loss total: 4k engine, 5k engine install, 2k oil leak, 3k lifter replacement = all covered under warranty, and they kept the funds.

Verified Reviewer |BOUGHT A "LIKE NEW" ENGINE 2 MTHS AGO STILL DONT HAVE A RUNNING ENGINE
- - Paid $2,000 deposit and $500 upgrade; paid before shipping; not delivered.
- - Delivery issues: incorrect studs; crankcase leak; engine returned 12/18.
They said they dissassembled engine checked and reassembled it sent back to shop doing the work. When it got there they borre scopped the engine and found they did nothing to repair it they sent me pictures and said they would not reinstall because it was no good.
I sent them copies of the pictures and told them i want my money back it has now been 3 months of tese lies they have yetto respond to me triedMi. attorney general have heard nothing .
Leading to putting required $2,000 dep on 11/04/2024 and truck vin number for engine specs request arp stud up date with engine build and agreed to $500 upgrade charge. They requested payment for the engine before shipping which I paid 11/12/2024. Engine was finally delivered to J C Automotive for installation on 11/18/2024. When J C auto went to install injectors they couldn't do it because the different length studs were installed in the wrong locations.
We contacted them and took multiple days for accurate to contact JC and authorize fixing this problem. After repairing and installing the motor and starting it never left the shop because of excessive crankcase pressure which also caused rear main oil seal leak. JC videoed pressure blowing out oil fill cap and sent it to accurate. JC finally got authorization to remove and strip the engine back and shipped to them 12/18/2024.
Brintany finally called me 12/30/2024 and said they were going to check it tomorrow and will let me know what's wrong. They only agreed to pay for half of the labor for JC to remove the engine and ship it to them and reassemble and install when returned. They have yet to send me the like new remanufactured engine they advertised to me in advertised and contracted condition why should i have to pay to remove and disassemble then reassemble and reinstall a engine that was remanufactured like new when it has never left the shop and should be runnable. I Have paid those charges already to Jcs and should not have to do it again.
It would be a breach of contract to supply remanufactured like new engine . I had to borrow money to pay for all of this which I have done after more than 2 months and time. I still don't have my motor. and this is how I make my living now making payments but no truck to generate income and have had to make 2 payments to the bank already.
I have emails, text and documentations for all of the above. I have been completely transparent with both accurate engines and Jc auto shop in Monroe city missouri.
I feel as if Accurate Engines should cover the costs and responsibility of the disassembly and shipping to fix the original engine, the fact that the engine that was delivered and installed the first time was not like new and in running order with no fault to myself of Jcs auto shop which I have hired to install the engine. I need this to be made right and the engine to be sent to Jcs to be exactly what the contract has stated.

Verified Reviewer |Engine missing major components
- - Accurate Engines did not return the rebuilt Ford 6.7; sent a different long block; missing parts and hardware totaling $1,000; BBB filed; no response.
Be very careful with Accurate Engines! I sent my Ford 6.7 engine to be rebuilt and it never came back.
They sent me another long block and kept all my parts!! Im missing front, rear cover, oil pan and lower oil pan! Not to mention the hardware!! They were very apoplectic and assured me they would send me my missing parts.
This never happened and now Im out over 1000 in parts and hardware. Im made a report to the Better Business Bureau and these people still havent sent my parts or responded to me. Next Ill be filing a police report for theft and seek legal action! Do not deal with this place very unprofessional.

- - They sent a different engine, which was defective; warranty not honored and they monitor my calls.
No response from Accurate Engines. I can share more pictures in detail if needed.
Still leaving customers including myself with defective engines. Hurting families all over the USA.
They said they would rebuild my engine. I sent it to them. They sent me a different engine. It was defective.
Freeze plug was old and rusty and leaks coolant into my oil system. 1 timing chain guide was old and missing a washer. 1 side was new the other side old.The 1 guide was yellow and the other new and white. It also was loose and not tight caught it in time before it caused more damage.
They sent the oil pan and timing chain cover back off my old engine not cleaned. Valve cover grommets they sent the wrong ones. Dan the Salesmen hung up on me. They want honor the warranty and are monitoring my phone number and want answer my calls.
They don't even know what my issues are with their engine. Don't buy from them. Call them and see if you can get a answer from anyone other than sales.
You can't. You can see the yellow/old timing chain guide behind the factory wrap.
